It's official - Bob Barr is the 2008 Libertarian Presidential Nominee. Amid much controversy (see Christine Smith), Barr was chosen in a very competitive race at the national convention in Denver. It is rumoured that Barr will appear at the Texas LP Convention in Fort Worth, where Texas Libertarians will make an important choice of their own - choosing a candidate to oppose John Cornyn for Senate.
